Anadil's Tomb

Quest Overview

Recover the pieces to the staff once belonging to the Undead general, Anadil of Shakrassekor, after his tomb was raided by the Shadows.

Walk Through

Collecting the Notes

This part of the quest is optional

1. Head to the Tombs of the Sand Kings and take the note from Anadil's Tomb.
   • Routes:
     • Head to the Sylsfear Dungeon near Al-Jalima at 11.0N, 14.7E, and take the Direlands Midland Portal. From there run to the tombs at 87.7S, 65.6W.
     • Direlands Midland Portal at for example Sylsfear or Carved Cave
     • Run from Candeth Keep
2. Head north east to the Abandoned Observatory at 86.4S, 63.8W, and take the note from the chest inside.

The Staff of the Nomads

1. The first note mentioned that part of the staff is at the Necropolis (49.0S, 54.3W).
   • Route: To get there use a K'nath Lair Portal Device when available, or take the Northwest Direlands Portal from the Aerlinthe drop point. From there head to the Obsidian Rim portal at 5.5N, 87.5W.
2. When you reach the Necropolis head down into the northern bunker and turn right and then up the stairs. Take the Splintered Staff from the chest.
3. The second note mentioned that the other part of the staff is now located at a "temporary staging ground at 82.3S, 35.2W". The staging ground is the Lightless Catacombs.
   • Route: Purchase a Invitation Wedding Hall gem from a Wedding Planner and take the South Direlands Portal from the hall.
4. Once inside the Catacombs run east and up the ramp, take the 5th passage to the right and then the first door on your left. Run to the end of the passage to the end room and run around to the chest sorrounded by Grievver and Shadows. Loot the second part of the staff from the chest. Combine the two parts to create Staff of the Nomads.

The Child of Daralet

Town Crier tells you, "News! The undead general Anadil and his spymaster Asmolum were slain at the Ithaenc Cathedral! The nomad mu-miyah of the shattered Dericostian army were seen carrying Anadil's broken form away south of Chalicmere Castle."

Town Crier tells you, "The Tomb of Anadil has been robbed!"

As you bring the two halves of the staff together, the wood seems to grow together again.

Notes

• The Staff of the Nomads (Retired) was originally dropped by Anadil of Shakrassekor during the Shard of the Herald live event.
• During A Perfect Paradox event, Anadil's Tomb was raided and no longer contained the two parts of the Staff of the Nomads or required lockpick to open. The Staff of the Nomads was also updated.
