Quest Overview
Walk Through
- Goto the tent outside the city. Speak the NPC inside the tent to get the scrying rod.
- Route: Run east from Yaraq or use City of Neftet Recall.
- Use the scrying rod on top of the cliffs. The rod causes a device to spawn and when you use it it flags you (says it shocks you). It will give you a message when you use the rod near an area where the device spawn. There are at least 3 locations where the device can spawn and all were on top of the cliffs roughly in the center of the mesa.
- Return to the tent and talk to the NPC to receive the first reward (80,000,000 xp and 5k luminescence).
- Now you need to go into the Sand Caverns dungeon. There are multiple portals that all drop at the same place (safe drop).
- Run around the dungeon until you find a room with a Mu-miyah Soothsayer and Mu-miyah Channeler. There are 5 possible rooms where they can spawn and the dungeon is a maze with rocks that randomly spawn to block passages. The dungeon is filled with the same creatures as outside. The dungeon portal is recallable if you die.
- Loot Red and Yellow crystals off the Soothsayer and Channeler.
- Leave the dungeon and find the Device again using the Scrying Rod.
- Hand the crystals to the device and it will reward you again (80,000,000 xp and 5k luminescence). An NPC will spawn next the device, talk to him.
- Now go to the Temple dungeon on top of one of the cliffs.
- Kill every creature on the lower levels in order to open the doors to the wings at the top of the stairs.
- Kill every creature in the wings. Notice that all the creatures in the wings drop keys to tier 7 loot chests also located in the wings. Loot 4 different keys (Mixed, Magic, Weapons, and Armor). There are special named mu-miyah at the end of each wing but they don't drop anything special.
- Once all the creatures in the wings are all dead the doors to the next level will open. Be sure to loot the chests before you move on.
- Go to the top of the dungeon and kill the Mu-miyah Slavemaster. When you attack him a bunch of guards will spawn but focus on the slavemaster because the guards disappear when the Slavemaster dies.
- When the Slavemaster dies an NPC will spawn in one of the rooms to the side of the main room. Talk to him for the final reward (80,000,000 xp and 5k luminescence). The quest is now complete.
