Category talk:Bonded

I think we should only tag items as bonded that are equipment. There are many quest items/trophies that are attuned/bonded but cannot be used in any way by a player. By only tagging equipment, this category would actually be useful for a player looking to go no-drop.

A group of recent changes prompted me to look at this category closer to better understand its use. My investigation brings me to this ancient discussion page with the following conclusion:
Bonded roughly means an item that is not dropped on death but can still be given away. Bonded applies to ANY item Turbine sees fit. If a quest item is labeled Bonded by Turbine then it is bonded. Period. Said item then qualifies for a category labeled Bonded. Excluding legitimate items from the Bonded category seems to be redefining a game concept based on personal opinion instead of recording the concept accurately. Obviously, the Bonded category can and likely should be sub-categorized. Armor, weapons, and quest are just a few sub-categories that could be used. These sub-categories would allow for more detailed grouping while maintaining the integrity of the wikis data collection. -- (2 cents) Malacon 12:08, 8 February 2011 (EST)
