The size of the map is as big as it can be within the engine. We've been filling in the margins with new islands, but you won't see the map as a whole expand to include other continents or island chains.

IC: As others have said, Isparians have enjoyed the benefit of a mere two queens holding dominion over a relatively large area. Now imagine you're a ladybug, making your way across your yard. Keep in mind all those anthills (around here, I've seen them as thick as two per square foot). That's what the continents would be like.

OOC again: And imagine the servers lighting themselves on fire and jumping off a bridge as they tried to keep up with such a dense monster load!
