Town Crier tells you, "Reports are coming in about a strange spectral undead in the town beneath Hoshino Kei's fortress that is both testing adventurers and sending them on missions."

Town Crier tells you, "Popkin of the Gate, a researcher stationed in Cragstone, has sent word that one of her assistants working in the Vesayen Isles needs help with one of her digsites."

Town Crier tells you, "Hoshino Kei has raised a large fortress to the Northwest of Osteth, near the Beach Fort. Travellers in the area are advised to use caution."

New UI and Game Changes

• Weapon Auras: Item spells are now cast on a character and all weapons are affected by the appropriate castable buff bonuses (NOTE: Item debuffs now only last 30 seconds in PvP combat, but last the full duration in PvE combat.)
  • Scrolls and Spells were renamed to "Aura of ...", and "Aura of ...Other" spells were introduced.
• Water of Stasis has been removed from the game world. This includes versioning it out of current Loot Weapons.
• Unenchantable weapons that once had built-in buff spells are getting their stats converted in such a way as if they had their item buffs active permanently, while removing the actual buff spells. (NOTE: All weapon buffs have been dispelled & will have to be re-equipped.)
• Rare Armor spells have been temporarily dispelled to address old set spells still applying their buff (This means rare armor will have to be reequipped to get their set buffs.)
• Blackmoor's Page has arrived in Arwic to replace Blackmoor's Favor, Asheron's Benediction, and Asheron's Lesser Benediction gems that have been lost.
• Changes to Alternate Currency NPC & associated Vendor's, the Vendors now trade A'nekshay Tokens.
• Luminance from inner creatures of Tou-Tou and Hoshino's Fortress has been increased.
• Luminance has been added to nighttime Graveyard creatures.
• Rearranged the Contracts from the starter town vendors by suggested level (except the Broker contract is always first).
• Society Shields were updated to include the Epic Shield Aptitude enchantment.
• Academy Intro Skip NPCs now gives 2 Oil of Renderings.

• Simulacra Infiltrators
• Hoshino Fortress Infiltration - there was an increase in the number of quest trophy bones that drop from the bosses in the Venerable Mausoleum. The bosses now drop 9 items, enough for a full fellow.
• Monthly Explorer Society Quests

  WARNING: These quests are standalone quests, the xp bonuses are strictly handled by the NPCs in Kara, speak to them after finishing to get your bonus. Also your timer for the bonuses depend on when you completed last month's set of quests, speak to each NPC to find out if your timer hasn't expired yet. More details here.

• Ansar El-Kerdany: (Monthly) - Burun Burrow Quest

  Ansar El-Kerdany tells you, "Greetings Adventurer! We believe that Translator Aun Laokhe could use some assistance."

  Ansar El-Kerdany tells you, "Aid him in investigating the dark magics at the request of High Queen Elysa."
  

  - Completion Message;

  Ansar El-Kerdany tells you, "You found interesting documents indeed. Hopefully it helps shed light on the matter for Aun Laokhe. Here is your reward."

  Esmond Fielding tells you, "Greetings Adventurer! The Explorer Society has decided it would help direct attention to citizens in need of help."

  WARNING: These Kill Tasks are standalone quests, the xp bonuses are strictly handled by the Rand, Game Hunter in Holtburg, speak to Rand after finishing each Kill Task to get your bonus.

Rand, Game Hunter tells you, "As a game hunter I've tagged a variety of creatures to test your skills. Kill these creatures to test your skills and prove your abilities and I'll make it worth your while."

Rand, Game Hunter tells you, "You'll have to kill a few more Olthoi Swarm Legionaries and return to me."

Rand, Game Hunter tells you, "This month I've tagged Olthoi Swarm Nobles as the medium difficulty prey."

Rand, Game Hunter tells you, "This month I've tagged Primordial Olthoi in the Valley of Death as the high difficulty prey."
