Introduction

The Healer class is one of the specialization classes of the Tumerok Magic tree. (The other is the Invoker.) You can choose a character class when your Tumerok character reaches level 15. By choosing a Healer, you gain access to powerful healing spells, to restore the health and energy of yourself and your allies.

Quick Guide to the Healer

The Healer combines powerful targeted and group heals. Besides the base magic auto-attack, Healers have access to only two class-specific attack skills, a root, and a damage debuff. These means that the Healer has little damage output alone. For this reason Healers have little need for adept mastery and often play in a fellowship. Healers have excellent protective buffs, and it is not uncommon to see six to seven aura buffs apply to you as a healer joins the group. Among these are increases to vigor regeneration, defensive masteries, poison or fire spellcraft reduction, in addition to base Tumerok Magic buffs. Some healers will not even bother with any masteries, while others may take all masteries to boost defense. The Healer buff Protecting the Flock boosts defenses even more.

The Healer is also an excellent class to hybridize with the base Tumerok Melee or Tumerok Missile skill trees, for primary damage and the use of a shield. Or a Healer may be played purely as a support character and with additional skills trained from the Tumerok Magic skill tree for additional magical damage and bonuses.

When compared to the other primary healing class, the Lugian Sage, Healers tend to specialize in quicker, single-target heals, while Sages specialize in more powerful but slowly regenerating heals.
