Introduction
The Invoker class is one of the specialization classes of the Tumerok Magic tree. (The other is the Healer.) You can choose a character class when your Tumerok character reaches level 15. By choosing the Invoker, you gain access to a set of specialized skills that require the use of a Drum.
"Communing with the natural world, Tumeroks are able to channel their energies into powerful magic spells. The Invoker in particular is able to summon creatures of various strengths and abilities. Also communing with the supernatural world, Invokers channel ancestral spirits, which provide fierce abilities and allow them to better fight."

The Invoker is a shamanistic, spiritual Tumerok, master of offensive magic, in touch with the spirits of his ancestral land. The Invoker's rhythmic drum beats summon the spirits to fight for you and your allies.
The Invoker is essentially a magic pet class, though the pets it was able to summon changed drastically when the class was rewritten. The shapeless, ethereal Minors and Brats (short-lived offensive pets with some debuffs) gave way to the faerie-like Spirits of Tumerok, Audetaunga, and Volkama, Tumerok deities who are responsible for helpful aura buffs to the Invoker and his fellowship. The Vindicator, Avenger, and Reckoner, are floating Ero-Bal - skeletal spirits of Tumerok ancestors. These intimidating pets are responsible for direct damage - the fearless Avenger goes into melee, the Vindicator uses missile attacks, and the Reckoner casts a fiery AOE. The Invoker is able to summon these pets as appropriate to the situation - but not all of them at once. In return for the help of all these Spirits, the Invoker is able to heal and add armour to the summoned spirits nearby, as well as protect them, allowing the damage they take to be negated or even reflected back at the attacker.
The Invoker himself is a force to be reckoned with, possessing several strong spiritual attacks to haunt his enemies. If your Invoker wants to be more self-reliant for damage, you can also take some of the Lightning attacks from the Tumerok Base Magic tree. Before the class re-write, the old Invoker version had only two magic attacks, so it was possible to see Melee- and Missile-Invokers (the Brat pets were useful for debuffing enemy armour) as well as Magic ones who used many offensive skills from the base Tumerok Magic tree. However, after the rewrite, Invokers were given more desirable offensive spells, and most Invokers now prefer to drum up some ancestral magic.
